Course Map

Description:

Marana Rock is Southern AZ's newest and most aggressive disc golf course. Located in a water detention basin with beautiful views. and water in the small lake most of the year. Lots of elevation changes. Mature tamarisk trees. Rattlesnakes have been spotted on the course. This is a rugged course with cacti, standing water, wildlife, and uneven terrian. Wear heavy shoes with good traction and long pants!

Facilities:

There are no facilities (yet). Bring liquids. There is a Walgreen's and Safeway nearby. You’ll drive by the Walgreen’s on the way to the course. A Safeway, Subway, and a good Chinese restaurant are ½ a mile west of the Walgreen’s on Twin Peaks Road. Safeway has nice restrooms just inside the sliding doors.

Directions:

Interstate 10 to Cortaro Road exit. Once you’ve exited Interstate 10, head west toward the Tucson Mountains 1 mile to Silverbell Road. Turn right (north) on Silverbell Road and go approximately 1.8 miles to Coachline Road. Turn right on Coachline Road and go approximately 2 miles. On the right side of the road there will be a big, empty dirt lot with a pump station building that is blue and white. Turn in the dirt lot, and go straight. You'll see the dirt berms that surround
the basin. DO NOT SPEED ON SILVERBELL OR COACHLINE ROADS!!!!!!! I can't stress this enough!
Marana police (in cars and on motorcycles) are always around, and love to use radar from side
streets! BE AWARE!!!
